United Methodist Youth Fellowship
Our youth group is one that is
dedicated to praising God, loving others, and creating disciples for
Christ and the future of the church.
We meet on Sunday nights from 6:00 to 7:30, and we pray that you
would join us. From 6:00-6:30 we share supper together in the
Fellowship Hall. We then join together to hear the Word of God
read and then join our thoughts together as we discuss the lesson.
Many nights we have time to play some basketball and other games.
I pray that all of you would feel
the grace of our Lord acting in your lives, and that you would join
us Sunday nights as we gather together for fellowship,, and
remember, you can always bring a friend!

NEW YOUTH CHOIR:

6-12 rehearses on Sunday in Room 210 from 5:15-6:00 p.m., before
UMYF. Come check this out - it is going to be great!

12:30 p.m. Come join us!
Sunday Morning Group Worship
Sunday mornings we meet in the
Senior High Youth Lounge at 9:45 for Sunday Morning Worship. We begin with
announcements about upcoming events and share praises and prayer
concerns. After opening with prayer, we dive into the lesson.
Among our Sunday morning teachers are Jan, Bill, Alexis and Tim. We
often even have donuts or go out for breakfast, so be sure to join us each
week.
Mission
We serve in mission settings as often as we can. During the year
we try to serve at least once a month at a local shelter or mission
site such as serving food at St. Mark’s Breakfast Club or packing
meals at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Many of the youth help in
our own church by teaching at Vacation Bible School, helping with the
Spring and Fall Festivals, and raising money for World Vision and
fasting during the 30 Hour Famine. The Summer time is usually
when we have our big missions event. This year we are going to
Asheville N.C. to repair homes. We all have been blessed by
the Lord, and we believe these blessings enable us to serve others
for the Glory of God.
Youth
Counselors
We have
a wonderful group of counselors who volunteer to help teach,
chaperone, drive, and otherwise make this youth group possible.
We love our counselors and could not do so many fun things without
them. If you are interested in hanging out with a bunch of
incredible teenagers, and are over the age of 21, please consider
joining our team by becoming a youth counselor. No experience
is required.
