Adult Ministries

Adult Bible Studies

We offer a range of Bible Studies throughout the year and are constantly changing with Disciple classes, short term studies, and ongoing Sunday School classes that meet every week. We even have a Film Club that watches and discusses movies! For more information, please email Rev. Joshua Roberts.

Young Adults

The young adults at Chamblee First United Methodist Church invite any and all to their events. Ongoing activities include lunch after church once a month, trivia every other week at Galla's Pizza, and a Sunday School class that meets in room 206 every Sunday morning. We do other events throughout the year including braves games, picnics, and frisbee tournaments! All are welcome, and please contact the church for more information, or email Rev. Joshua Roberts.

Young at Heart

Our Vibrant Young at Heart group meets for a program and lunch on every third Monday of the month for a program and pot-luck lunch. We also do a variety of projects, and many of our members are actively involved in the auxiliary of the United Methodist Children's Home. Please contact Steve Anderson for more information.

United Methodist Women (UMW)

Our varied and active United Methodist Women serve the women of the church in a variety of ways, and are essential to the life and community of Chamblee First United Methodist Church. The groups, called circles, meet in one another's homes or in the church at various times regularly, depending upon the group and the members' life situation. There is a circle for you! Family Ministries

There are a variety of programs that go on in the church that are specifically geared toward families. We have a Fall Festival every year. An Easter Egg Hunt. And two Family Camping Weekends where we all go off-site and experience the outdoors while being in fellowship together.
