"Young At Heart"
Group
You
are cordially invited to join the “Young At Hearts” in the
Fellowship Hall at 10:30 a.m. This program is currently on
hiatus
for the summer. However, we'll start back up this coming
September with a marvelous program which includes a harpist.
Following the program we will have a covered dish luncheon!
You won’t want to miss this
entertaining morning so come on over and please bring a friend.
Cancer Prayer
Support Groups
Two
new groups have begun meeting at Chamblee Methodist Church. Cancer Patients, Cancer Survivors, and Cancer Caregivers
and Families are
encouraged to visit
one or both of the groups. Modeled after Lynn Eib’s Patient
Advocacy groups in
When God and Cancer Meet,
these groups will be places of discussion and prayer for God’s
perfect Will to work through the difficulties and challenges of
Cancer
diagnosis and treatment. Two
separate meeting times are available each month. The Second Tuesday
Evening of each month at 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm and the Fourth
Thursday morning from 10:00 m to 11:30 am are the scheduled times.
Interested parties are encouraged to attend one or both meetings
each month. There will be topics for discussion with time for
sharing and praying. These meetings are open to the community so if
you know someone who could benefit please extend an invitation to
them. Pamphlets are available in the breezeway. For more

Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings
The "Winner's Circle" meets every Thursday and Saturday night in the Fellowship Hall at 8:00 p.m. The Thursday night meeting is an open discussion; Saturday night is an open, two speaker meeting. Both

Weight Watchers Weekly Meetings Every Tuesday

There will be no Young at Heart meetings June - August.
Family Camping
Every spring and fall, join us for Family Camping. Come spend a
weekend, usually in the beautiful North Georgia mountains, enjoying
the fellowship and fun with this lively group. This is a wonderful,
Spirit-filled weekend for the whole family. If you aren't into
"camping", there are motels in the area. For more information,
